I agree with those humidity numbers. You can also keep an eye on the air cell to make sure it is drying out appropriately.

Here is a Waterfowl Breeder's directory: http://www.backyardchickens.com/a/2013-waterfowl-breeders-directory You won't go wrong buying hatching eggs from most of those folks. Do you sell hatching eggs? Do you have pictures of your ducks? What color Ancona do you raise? I have read different opinions on humidity, do you think 55% for the first 25 days is about right then up it to 75%.

thanks StaceyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5672416594180477909.post-10734705960969902192013-03-29T19:49:44.287-05:002013-03-29T19:49:44.287-05:00Nine of the 15 eggs hatched. I realize this is an old post but I too was looking to order Ancona duck eggs and I was looking for info on incubating them. I just hatched a bunch of shipped chicken eggs and wantedto try ancona ducks. I was going to order mine from a farm in Georgia. I'm in the process of figuring out the best solution for feeding and watering chickens, ducks, and turkeys all at once, so this is timely. The Harried Homemakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16040000001377493416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5672416594180477909.post-66902120837673524702012-06-11T14:52:07.425-05:002012-06-11T14:52:07.425-05:00Excited to see them the babies are ADORABLE! I said oh they are cheaper then buying from the hatchery...Well anyway we came home with 22 new chicks! 10 Buff Orphington and 12 Ameraucana(Americana)-we couldn't just leave the other 2 babies.

I am not sure if you have heard of these but I found them to be a HUGE blessing! I am not enjoying cleaning out the chicken water a couple of times a day! We have used these and a 5 gallon bucket for our ducks and they have been wonderful! http://www.avianaquamiser.com/
We did have a fatality as one night it fell as it wasn't secured but eventually we want to put them into a pvc pipe and run it outside for them.

~Mrs. WAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
